Luminary Talent Co. was founded in 2017 by two former operators — a two-time CFO and a Chief People Officer who had between them placed over 200 executives across SaaS, fintech, and industrial technology.

We noticed that the best executive hires weren't always the best candidates on paper. They were the ones who understood what a specific company needed at a specific moment. Finding those people requires pattern recognition that most search firms don't have.

How we work

Every Luminary engagement is led by a partner — not handed off to analysts after kickoff. We take on a limited number of searches at a time so each one gets the attention it deserves.

Our guarantee: if a placed executive leaves within 18 months for any reason other than acquisition, we re-run the search at no additional cost. We've honored that guarantee five times in seven years.
